When hitting into a net, all of the metrics are calculated within seconds of impact. This means that even though the ball is being hit into a net, you are still given the same shot statistics you would have been given if you were on a course!
While you are practicing, you can select the club you are using as well as the intended shot shape. After each shot, all of the statistics will be displayed on the screen including your shot rating. Below this, you can see your session stats such as total shots, average shot rating, and average direction.
After a session of hitting into a net, Graff Golf calculates the mean, median, and standard deviation of the following statistics for each club.
- Shot Rating
- Spin Rate
- Spin Direction
- Ball Speed
- Launch Angle
- Carry Distance
- Hang Time
- Apex Height
- Shot Shape
- Distance Off Target
You will then be directed to the 'Analyze' screen to view your round or session in-depth and make actionable improvements to your swing.
You can then compare these statistics for your most recent session with your historical averages with each club.
